When a child is born into poverty, he/she has little to no control over their health, education and even quality of life. They do not always have the ability to make their own decisions. Kenneth was one of those children.
Kenneth’s greatest fulfilment is when his story offers encouragement and is a catalyst of change to someone’s life. Born and raised in Eastlands, Nairobi – Kenya, his fate was almost determined as a failure before it even took off.
Undaunted, Kenneth chose to tell life stories through film. He has visited remote places and interacted with the poorest communities in and out of the country. Through his experiences, he is driven with an urge to help communities, mentoring young underprivileged boys and girls, and transforming them into people who believe in themselves and the power that lies within.
Kenneth has an extensive knowledge of disaster risk management and has been to many countries and has worked with many journalists in the field of disaster risk reporting, climate change and development in Africa.
What he looks forward to every single day, is an opportunity to lead, change and transform someone’s life and by encouraging them to Dream, Believe and Act!
